About Me

My name is Daniel Ziegler and I’m a licensed and insured massage therapist in the state of Washington. Growing up playing sports I have always had a deep connection with my own body and have focused a lot of energy into maintaining a healthy lifestyle. After receiving many massages in my time as an athlete, I attended massage school at the Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts where I graduated from in the fall of 2019. Since then, I’ve continued my education by taking classes in cupping, craniosacral, structural integration, and sports massage. Adjacent to the massage world, I have trained to become a yoga teacher, Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist, and a steel mace fitness coach. My biggest educational goal currently is to complete acupuncture school at Middle Way Acupuncture Institute where I will be graduating from in the fall of 2028!

What I Provide

My style of massage works deep into your muscle tissues and fascia to help work out any lingering tension, while keeping you in a relaxed parasympathetic state. I provide more of a medical approach than a relaxing approach, but aim to find that balance between relaxing and therapeutic work. If you would like to work on your mobility and joint strength, then book a Functional Range Massage and Mobility session with me so we can take time going over different exercises that will help you reach your mobility goals.

Rex Nichols

Licensed Massage Therapist # MA61110422

Rex went to Whatcom Community College to train in massage therapy and graduated in 2020. He specializes in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and has been studying structural integration. Rex is a true student of massage therapy, always reading books and taking workshops to deepen his understanding of the body’s fascial network. This has made Rex a very intellectual massage therapist who treats each massage session uniquely. His clientele has praised his ability to identify the root causes of their issues and get them resolved. Rex joined The Body Mechanic team in the fall of 2022 and has been a perfect fit in our treatment-based approach.
